Ultima V:
Lazarus
Lazarus is a remake of ORIGIN
Systems' classic computer RPG Ultima V, which was released for the
first time in 1987. If you have never played any of the Ultima
games, you might want to visit The World of Ultima to find out
what the series is all about. Lazarus is a mod using the Dungeon
Siege engine from Gas Powered Games. It will feature an enhanced
storyline, characters, and setting based on the original Ultima V.
We want to keep the original story intact as much as possible, but
we're also looking to improve the game with new side quests, a
deeper and richer plot, and enhanced dialogue. In addition, we're
planning on adding a few new NPC's.

Bones to Pick
You have been dead for 10 years.
With orders from your commanding officer, fellow soldiers tossed

intertwining your fates forever. Your weighted body quickly sank
to the bottom as you felt life slipping from your grasp. 10 years
later your flesh has long been eaten away by local fish, leaving a
rusted set of armor on a skeletal frame. You awaken one day to the
sun shining in your eyes and the river bed dry as a bone. You cast
away the rusted armor and begin your quest of vengeance.

Denizens of the Night
Crafted in the tradition of renowned
camp horror films such as “From Dusk ‘till Dawn” and “Evil Dead,”
Denizens of the Night (a working title) places you in control of a
lone human being in a city infested by monsters, maniacs, and
horrors of unspeakable evil. With no recent memory, and no clues
as to the fate that has befallen the city, you’ll be forced to
take to the streets to unravel the mystery and rescue what’s left
of your shattered home.

You know little of the race wars
that plague the continent. You could care less about Dwarves and
Gnomes slaughtering each other over the possession of their mines.
As long as your people aren't involved, neither are you. One day,
however, you wake up in the middle of the night to sounds of grief
and despair echoing through the hills between the city and your
farm.
Dressing quickly, you run down the stairs and out the door. Upon
arriving at the battered city gates, you find the city you once
loved ablaze, with thousands lying dead.
